Here are the pictures of the cast of Daejanggeum who also appeared in the 1999 drama Huh Jun, which was also produced by the same director and which also dealt with medicine.

The head court lady is the wife of Huh Jun (main character)'s teacher. Pretty much the same personality as in Daejanggeum...

Janggeum's uncle plays the role of Huh Jun's friend. He's a funny guy here, too.

Youngro's uncle and head eunuch as the servants at the main character's teacher's house.

Geumyoung's uncle is Huh Jun's friend. He is a good guy here.

The queen mother as the head of female physicians.

And then we have the King of Daejanggeum holding pretty much the same position that Min Jungho did in Daejanggeum.

The right minister Oh is King's physician in this drama.

Again, this guy plays the pretty much same role, a yangban doctor who is very just and compassionate.

Janggeum's father is the King here.

You'll also recognize this person. She was a court lady in Daejanggeum, and she is a court lady is this drama as well, only that she now is a court lady who serves the king, not just any court lady.

And Youngro was a female physician in this drama.

Stills of Lee Young-Ae in 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' released

Still photographs of 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' of director Park Chan-Wook starring Lee Young-Ae were released on June 16. The stills include pictures of Keum-Ja in 1990 as a rebellious 19-year-old girl; in 1991 when she gets arrested as a murder suspect; from 1991-2004 while she serves in prison under the nickname 'kind Ms. Keum-Ja' due to her angelic behavior; and in 2004 as a 33-year-old woman preparing for her revenge. 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' portrays the revenge of an angelic woman who serves in prison of her own will for 13 years, and opens in theaters on July 29.

------------------------------------------

Lee Young-Ae performing from 19 to 34 years old Lee Young-Ae successfully transformed herself from a 19-year-old girl to a 34 year old. The film company released stlils of Lee growing up from a rebellious high school girl in 1990 to the present 34-year-old woman in 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' by Park Chan-Wook, which opens on July 29. "Lee Young-Ae flawlessly covered a passage of 15 years, from a rebellious high school senior preparing for the entrance exam, to a convict serving in prison, and finally a wmoan determined to take revenge on the man who ruined her life," said a person concerned with the film. Lee is considered to have succeeded in converting her image drastically from the innocent and cheerful girl of her previous work MBC's 'Daejanggeum'. As Park Chan-Wook said at the public opening of the filming scene in April that "the movie was titled 'Ms. Keum-Ja' to contrast with Lee's elegant appearance," her radical transformation in the movie is a hot issue in the movie world.

'Ms. Keum-Ja' Lee Young-Ae turns into a rebellious 19-year-old high school girl

Lee Young-Ae went back to a 19 year old. Stills of Lee dressed up as a typical high school student in 1990 In the recently finished 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' were officially released. "In early 1990's, a hairstyle that looks as if you have a topknot on your head was most popular. 15 years have passed, but Lee Young-Ae didn't look awkward at all dressed up as a high school girl from that time," said the film company. "It felt like we were looking at Lee Young-Ae in her high school days." 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance', which has drawn everyone's interest as a collaboration between Lee Young-Ae and director Park Chan-Wook of 'Oldboy', is to be released in theaters on July 29.
*Ho ho funny looking as a high school student!*
